Only hidden data is removed — the visible image is unchanged.

How it works

Pick an image, and capkaki7 rewrites the picture's pixels. That process discards every embedded metadata block (EXIF, GPS, maker notes), then hands you a clean copy to download. The original on your device is untouched — keep it as your backup.

Frequently asked questions

What is image metadata (EXIF)?

EXIF is hidden data stored inside photo files — it can include GPS coordinates, the camera or phone model, serial numbers, and the exact date and time the photo was taken.

Why should I remove it?

When you share a photo online, its metadata can reveal where and when it was taken and which device you used. Removing it protects your privacy.

Do you store my images?

No. Images are processed in memory and the cleaned copy is sent straight back to you. Nothing is saved on the server.

Does cleaning change how the image looks?

No. Only the hidden metadata is removed. The visible picture stays the same.

Can I clean several images at once?

Yes — select up to 10 images at a time. A single image comes back with a preview; multiple images are returned together as a ZIP file.

Which formats are supported?

JPEG, PNG, WebP and GIF, up to 20 MB each.
